27th and 28th Episodes of drama serial Radd have been very intense with Imaan and Sawera facing the hardships of relationships.
A marriage bond is both very strong and fragile at the same time. It takes patience and intelligence to do it well, on the part of both men and women. Iman used to love Zain but she had to marry Salaar. Now she is managing this marriage well. This is her genius. While Zain on the other hand has proven to be a toxic and authoritative lover.
Conspiracies and politics:
The main theme of the episodes is conspiracies and politics. Family matters and marital issues may get so complicated, we can well understand this with the story. Hasty decisions can ruin the lives of not only parents but also the kids.
Jameel has learned a lesson. Now Sawera is back home with her two daughters. Salaar has proved himself a hero by standing with his wife, Imaan. These have been a few highlights of the two episodes.
We can see a clear difference between Salaar and Jameel as husbands. Salaar has been fighting for Imaan with his family who were not ready to accept her. On the other hand, Jameen not only did wrong to his wife, Sawera but also he took his daughter away.
Some stereotyped characters:
Jameel’s mother and his younger brother are typical characters that we often see. Marital and family issues are also kind of normal ones. Anyway, we can see more twists and turns in future episodes as Zain may try to harm Iman or Salaar because he is a losing lover. Jameel may also turn around to take revenge on Sawera and her family.
Job well done by the actors:
Hiba Bukhari can be called a sensational addition to our drama industry who has now big projects against her name. She is playing the role of Imaan very well. Her dialogue delivery and expressions are spot on especially when she tries to convince Zain. She switches beautifully between the shades of a submissive daughter before her father and then a dominating one when she refuses to accept the wrong offers of Zain.
Sheheryar Munawwar has also fittingly played the character of Salaar. He acts softly before Imaan but becomes assertive when confronts Zain or some other opposite person. Muhammad Ahmed is a soft-spoken father while Adnan Jaffer is a cunning and selfish person. They both have portrayed their personalities well. Arsalan Naseer has also played his part admirably against Hiba.
Things are moving forward, however, some scenes were extra lengthy. The build-up of the meeting between Imaan and Zain and then that of their counter-act is a bit annoying. Imaan looks scary while being alone in the room with Zain but in the end, she comes out as triumphant as she is on the right side.
Applaudable effort by the Production Team:
The writer and director are new in their field but they have done their job smartly. Camera, lights, locations, sound, and production team have a grip on their work. This is quite evident with the likes of viewers and ratings. Episode by episode the story presents new turns to keep the audience engaged. The same things can be expected from the next episodes.
Let’s wait and see what happens next.
