The two episodes of Meri Zindagi Hai Tu have gone on air this weekend. That is an anticipated, much-hyped drama starring the talented duo of Hania Amir and Bilal Abbas. The introductory episodes of the highly talked-about serial have garnered millions of views. Let’s have a look at how they went:
Story and script:
Radain Shah has told the story of a couple who are complete opposites. Not only do they have a huge class difference, but they also behave very differently when it comes to family and relationships – they are two very different people. Ayra (Hania Amir) is such a daring girl that she doesn’t hesitate to slap a boy in the face without thinking about what might happen. On the other hand, Kamyar (Bilal Abbas) is impulsive, retaliates quickly, and is known for having fleeting relationships. Their parents also have very different relationships with each other.
These differences will be crucial in shaping the nature of this story and its development.
Direction:
Musadiq Malek is the director who previously directed Habs and Noor Jahan for ARY. He has made the actors work brilliantly, whether they are juniors or seniors.
Videography and production design:
There are some brilliant drone shots. Production is also designed beautifully with eye-catching bungalows and other indoor locations. Lighting and décor of the bedrooms and other places are laudable, especially during the nighttime.
Performance:
Each actor is fit in his or her role, and the lead couple is just brilliant. The two have performed the characters like they were written only for them. Hania is acting her best after Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum. Also, Bilal’s performance is just getting better with time.
What to expect next?
Ayra will hopefully not accept the friendship offer of Kamyar easily. She is a headstrong and principled girl, so Kamyar has to climb a hill to win her heart, especially after the unpleasant incident at the very start of the story. This story is just going to be more and more interesting. So let’s wait for the next episode.
