The story in the 7th and 8th episodes has become more complicated. Things have gotten increasingly tangled in the two episodes, with the hero becoming a victim alongside the heroine. On the other hand, the culprit is roaming freely with his tactics and manipulating attitude. The relationship with an adopted child, too, has a deep impact on the story.
New events and story advances
The changes in these two episodes have occurred rapidly. Complications and new intense conflicts have unfolded, making life more difficult for all the characters. Rahim (Sheheryar Munawwar) loves Shehroze (Shuja Asad) and for the same reason, he has been having a soft corner for him. However, after the incident of an apparent or accidental murder attempt on Aimen (Ushna Shah), his attitude toward Shehroze and his mother changed as he is an adopted child. Conflicts between the characters are intensely knit and show a balance of good and bad.
Performance
The two episodes belong to the performance of Sheheryar Munawwar and Shuja Asad. Most of the time, the screen is been occupied by these two. Both are poles apart and they have performed very well. So far Ushna Shah is concerned, she is giving a great performance as a waitress character.
Depiction of our societal norms
A spoiled brat and a victimized female character depicts our societal norms very well especially when she meets a harassment incident. In such a case, people just judge her character. If she is poor or middle class, she is simply blamed both by police and people for being manipulative for any financial or material gains. A mother keeps covering up the characterless acts of her son is also a usual attitude of our society which is well-portrayed by Afiya (Irsa Ghazal). How discrimination between kids spoils things for families and how human sympathies are given a wrong meaning, the writer and director have displayed it intelligently.
Class differences are very clear in the story as we see big bungalows, a three-star hotel, a club, a gym, etc. where sometimes Aimen (Ushna Shah) feels misfit.
Videography and lighting
All the indoor locations like the house of Ali Nawaz (Mehmood Aslam) and the hotel are brightly lit. We must praise the production design department for the beautifully decorated indoor locations, lighting, and props. Swimming pool scenes and the engagement event were praiseworthy. The scene of Aimen being pushed and drowning in the pool must have an underwater shoot or some computer-generated graphics which is smartly done.
What to expect next?
Things are not easy ahead for both Aimen and Rahim and their families as well. Reputation is at risk, especially in the age of social media where things can go viral in a short time without any investigation and fact-finding. What is in store for Rahim and Aimen, the most crucial thing is that their dignity and relationships are at stake. Let’s see how they cope with all this mess.
