The 11th and 12th episodes of Bismil have finally seen the romantic build-up of the Masooma (Hareem Farooq) and TT (Nauman Ejaz) settled down in the form of marriage. The 12th episode was all about that happiness and contentment, they both have got.
Masooma is over the moon as she achieved what she could only dream of. On the other side, Reham (Sawera Nadeem) is mentally very disturbed due to Masooma’s behavior. She can’t accept Masooma to come to a level equal to her.
The story advancement of the episodes is good
The writer and director have carved out well-paced episodes. A build-up of small events and developments leads to the major turn: marriage. We saw a sense of accomplishment, excitement, fear of the unknown, mental disturbance, agony, romance, etc. in the two episodes. Societal norms and the ongoing trends of our old men marrying young ladies are rightly portrayed.
Masooma’s parents have divided opinion: fear and happiness going together
Siddiqui sahib (Behroze Shabzwari) rightly fears for the fate of this marriage while his wife (Shaheen Khan) as a mother thinks that her daughter’s decision and choice are right. Her support is because of the fortune Masooma has brought for them. The father is an experienced man while the mother is tempted towards material gains. These two contrasting opinions play a great role in shaping the story.
Production and costume design are more than brilliant
The new home of Masooma and TT is just a lovable place with high-class décor and props. Also the design of their marriage ceremony and the white and pink flowers at the bedside. Her makeover and bridal dress are just gorgeous. The locations of the office and home of TT are according to the lifestyle of a wealthy person.
What lies ahead for the characters?
We can see an emotional tumult in Reham’s life when she comes to know about TT’s second marriage, with none other than Masooma she looks down upon. Her reaction will be worth watching on such a harsh reality that her husband has cheated upon her.
Success and wealth can be temporary and if a wealthy man goes for a second marriage even being senior in age, he can also go for the third one. The same thing can also happen with Masooma.
