Geo TV’s drama serial Jaan Nisar is going to air shortly. Its first look teaser has been aired on Geo and it is truly a fiery one in nature and appearance. Let’s have a glance at how it inspires the viewers.
We have the vibes of Deewangi, with the very first checkout of the teaser as the pair of Hiba Bukhari and Danish Taimoor are once again gracing the screen in Jaan Nisar. The viewers effortlessly compare it with Deewangi and call Jaan Nisar the second version of it. And it does look like the previous one as the teaser has a clear resemblance.
The teaser starts with a powerful dialogue about money and power, and the difficulties they bring with them. The character of the hero, Nausherwaan, is introduced in a very strong manner. Hunting with a gun, poor people chanting slogans in favour of him, confronting the enemies, firing bullets, and showing his class with assertive gestures and body language – this is the character description of our male lead. With the background dialogue in the teaser, we can easily figure out that the male lead considers his love interest the most important in life, for the sake of whom he can go to every length.
The title of the drama fully denotes the qualities of our male lead. Jaan Nisar means one who sacrifices his life for a cause and the hero of our story is just like that.
One of the biggest conflicts in our society is class difference which can easily be shaped as a drama or film story and Jaan Nisar is no exception. The hero’s rich splendour, display of money and power, liking for the heroine, assertiveness in his love, feudal lifestyle, female lead crying in tense scenes or struggling against the oppressions, etc. make it clear that this story will be based on the differences between the middle class and the rich.
Also, the teaser is a male-dominant affair with the female lead portrayed either in distress or appearing to be only the love interest of the hero. Her character looks like the same old repetition of a typical heroine with the characteristics we see in every third or fourth story. Contrary to the portrayal of the male lead, it doesn’t give a feel of a powerful and courageous girl who has the guts to cope with the circumstances and take a stand for her.
Nonetheless, we can very much expect a spicy and glamorous tale coming to grace our screens. Jaan Nisar is written by Rehana Aftab and produced by none other than the famous duo of Abdullah Kadwani and Asad Qureshi. Rehana Aftab’s earlier drama serials include Zulm, Rah e Junoon, and Ik Sitam Aur. We have seen the work of these people earlier and they know very well how to attract an audience. With the likes and views of the first look on YouTube, we surely hope for another emotional roller coaster ride. Jaan Nisar appears to be another hit like Deewangi. Let’s wait for it to go on air
