The much awaited drama serial Humrahi has gone on air this weekend. With the hype starting weeks before, people are finally able to watch their favorite on-screen duo and enjoy seeing them teasing and bugging each other in a sweet and sour manner. Script – Once again it is Zanjabeel Asim:
Zanjabeel Asim is now the busiest drama writer with two or three of her serials going on air on different channels simultaneously. Humrahi is not much different from Deewangi and Jaan Nisar, with the hero wanting to capture the heroine anyway and at any cost. During the course of light teasing and just-for-fun bullying, he falls in love with her.

The intro episodes have clearly introduced us to the story and settings; tone; characters, their motives, and background; the huge class difference; and the evil of land mafia. However, one thing is quite surprising: both Elif (Hiba Bukhari) and Mariyam (Laila Wasti) are having a rift with the powerful men they can never take down. However, these are the very conflicts that shape the story.
The background of Ghazi Yousuf (Shahzad Nawaz) and Lala (Ayub Khosa) as land grabbers is established in the very beginning.

As the on-screen couple already have their strong fanbase, the drama is a hit since the very start. Geo and BJ Productions do know the brand value of this couple so they are cashing in on their popularity with the viewers.

Humrahi is shot in Turkey, USA, London, and Pakistan. The team has done a lot of efforts to bring such a wide-spectrum story to the screen. We see drone shots that require quite an effort regarding sound and camera equipment. Technical matters are dealt with brilliance.
Names behind the production:
Babar Javed has directed a serial after a pretty long time. We can say Humrahi as his comeback in direction. Babar Javed is a name that can be a guarantee for the success of any serial or production.
What to expect next?
In the next episode, things are going to get much tangled not only for the lead couple but also the land grabbers. Elif and Sayhaan (Danish Taimoor) resist when they appear before each other but slowly and gradually they both are going to fall for each other.
