So our favorite TV show ended last night with a delightful and sweet ending. Shahnawaz (Ali Raza) and Mehrunnisa (Anmol Baloch) ultimately united after a lengthy turmoil. Saman Shah (Rubina Ashraf) also got a great and due lesson, though it came only after a great loss of her beloved son.

Let’s have a look at the finale episodes:

Story and script:

The story of the last two episodes doesn’t have much to offer. It is slow and looks dragging as there are not many changes. Some of the story elements are quite evident, and viewers can easily figure out what is coming next. However, the biggest relief is that Mehru is alive, and she is rescued with the heroics of Shahnawaz.

The other couple, Urooj (Hareem Sohail) and Rafay (Noman Kahout), also moved on with life after separation. Their marriage was a total failure, but they learnt a life lesson from this failed marriage.

Direction:

The last two episodes have a slow tempo, which makes them a bit boring. Rather, the overall story ends with 62 long episodes, which can be called a test for the patience of our viewers. The fighting sequence looks inspired by the movies. However, we can say it is a huge success with the high TRPs. Faheem Burney has worked after a long gap and gave us a good TV serial.

Couple chemistry:

The chemistry between Ali Raza and Anmol Baloch looks near perfect as they give us a feel of a real-life couple. Their romantic gestures and playful teasing make us smile. And the desperate hug when they reunite after a long time is just mind-blowing.

Happy Ending:

We saw the characters suffering and grieving through their journey. Some of them are happy in the end, and some couldn’t get what they wanted. This mix of happiness and grief is the true essence of the story, with a balanced look.

Lesson:

Politics and rule may be a dream for a family and a person, but they demand a huge price. Saman Shah and others have to pay this price, but at the cost of their loved ones and a long-lasting trauma. So why not go for a life based on the principle of live and let live?

How well did Iqtidar go?

Overall, it is a success with a few flaws. We can call it one of the most popular shows of Green Entertainment. It keeps the viewers hooked and interested in the story. We can say it will be remembered as a good and successful tale.
