Gone are the days when we had to wait for Hollywood movies to enjoy fantasy and superhero stories and finally, the much-awaited official trailer of the upcoming film Umro Ayyar has been released and has lifted our expectations entirely.

We might be able to see the next clean hit after 2022’s All Time Blockbuster The Legend of Maula Jatt.

We discovered three remarkable resemblances between “Umro Ayyar” and “The Legend of Maula Jatt”: the impressive production scale, the expansive fantasy setting, and the presence of the masterful Hamza Ali Abbasi.

What the Trailer Reveals:

In the trailer for “Umro Ayyar,” Usman Mukhtar, portraying Amar, a college professor, takes centre stage after unlocking supernatural abilities. His character demonstrates exceptional scientific prowess, delving into the intricacies of the underlying science behind the extraordinary occurrences.

As Amar unravels the secrets of his lineage, he discovers that he is the descendant of none other than Umro Ayyar himself, a legendary figure destined to thwart the nefarious plans of the evil sorcerer, Laqqa who harnesses the power of Jinns and Black Magic and want to rule the world on his terms accompanied by another antagonist character played by Sana Fakhar.

After attaining supernatural powers, Amar undergoes a profound transformation into Umro Ayyar’s successor, setting forth on a courageous quest alongside Ayyar’s loyal companions. Together, they confront the looming darkness that threatens their world, bravely preparing to combat the nefarious and otherworldly army of Laqqa (Faran Tahir). Along their perilous journey, Umro Ayyar encounters numerous obstacles as he strives to dismantle Laqqa’s sinister schemes and vanquish his formidable powers.

The Characters:

In the official trailer, we are introduced to compelling and enigmatic characters portrayed by Hamza Ali Abbasi and Adnan Siddiqui. Hamza’s character emerges as a guiding force for Amar, equipping him with invaluable tricks, supernatural tools, and powers essential for combatting the malevolent forces at play.

Meanwhile, Adnan’s character is hinted at being Amar’s father, possessing his formidable array of supernatural abilities. The dynamics between these characters promise to be captivating, offering intriguing insights into their roles in shaping the film’s narrative arc.

Ali Kazmi, positioned as the leader of the Ayyars, portrays a meticulously crafted character who stands alongside Amar at the forefront of the battle against Laqqa.

Sanam Saeed’s character steps into the role of mentor, providing both protection and guidance to Amar as he wrestles with his newfound identity who needs her as the driving force during his evolution after getting supernatural powers. Mazher Sehbai embodies the role of a wise elder, serving as the mentor to the Ayyars, imparting invaluable teachings on combating evil by honing and mastering their skills.
