Dil Hi Tou Hai’s latest episode has gone on air tonight with new developments. Sabrina (Maria Malik) is now married to Moeed (Ali Ansari) after a series of misunderstandings and conflicting scenarios. Things are advancing in the story though at a slow pace.
So far Abeera (Zoya Nasir) is badly struggling with her inner conflicts. She has lost Moeed who was her love but is unable to move forward. She desperately needs a break from the ongoing situation but can’t find a respite. Soon she will be married to Haroon (Daniyal Afzal Khan) which may bring happiness to her bitter and lonesome life.
Characters are constantly fighting their inner and outer demons which has moved the story forward in a smooth way. One very strong aspect of the story is how deeply betrayal or losing the love interest can affect your mental health. It has such a huge impact on one’s life that he/she can’t describe it in words. The only way out and solace is to find happiness in or with someone else. Sabrina and Moeed have done it with a lot of difficulty but now they have gradually started being happy with each other. On the other hand, Abeera is tangled in a trap. It is yet to be seen what and how she is going to have a way out.
Production Aspects: ARY and iDream Entertainment have done a good job with beautiful and well-decorated locations. The camera and lighting team and DOP shot the scenes brilliantly while keeping it simple. New and old all cast members are well-fit in their characters. However, there are a few hiccups like the art pieces on hospital walls although there should have been only medical-related things. Khawar (Shahood Alvi) was well-shaved and his hair was well-styled even on the hospital bed when he was under treatment for a cardiac attack.
Story and Script: Though the storyline is a usual one with no such uniqueness, turns and unexpected twists make it interesting and worth watching.
Relatively New Team: The writer, Nadia Ahmed, and the director duo of Kashif Butt and Danish Behlim are not very famous yet we can’t help but praise their good work. We can give a 3.5 TRP out of 5 to Dil Hi Tou Hai. Maria Malik and Hammad Shoaib have done justice to their characters. OST also gives a glimpse of the feelings and sentiments being faced by the characters.
Many things are to be unfolded so let’s wait and see what is in store for all the characters. Who is going the have what and how?
