The first three episodes of the new drama serial Faaslay have gone on air this weekend. The ego VS love story is not very unusual; a few ingredients make it a catchy story, however. The drama is garnering likes since the teasers went on air. Let’s delve into how the first three episodes went:

Love VS ego: let’s see which is going to be the winner

Zaviyar (Ali Ansari) and Annie (Saboor Ali) have been friends since childhood, but a college incident took them apart. Now Annie feels the pain of love, but Zaviyar is not ready to surrender even when he secretly loves her. The first three episodes are a balanced mix of past and present, as past things are well incorporated in between the present events.

Inner and outer conflicts:

The male ego is the biggest hindrance and conflict in the story. Zaviyar is the egoistic person who is ruining both the lives of his own and of Annie. The family business can be called the second biggest conflict. These two things are the driving force of the story. Inner and outer conflicts are making things difficult for all the characters.

Husband-wife duo of Saboor and Ali Ansari:

The husband-wife pair is appearing on screen after becoming parents recently. Saboor has made significant progress in her acting career since her debut as a teenager. She appears more mature in this role, and we can expect an excellent performance from her, especially since she’ll be acting opposite her real-life husband.

Performance:

Saba Hameed, Tara Mehmood, Azfar Rehman, and others have portrayed their characters well. Saba Hameed, as a typical mother, has done justice to her role, which involves wanting her son to become the CEO of the family business.

What to expect next?

Since Zaviyar isn’t willing to accept that he still secretly loves Annie and continues to hurt her with his teasing behavior, it’s clear the test of Annie’s love won’t end anytime soon. Things are complicated for the lead couple and others. These complications are affecting them emotionally as well as straining their family bonds. So, we look forward to another intense episode of Faaslay this weekend.
