The story has finally come to an end after 41 episodes. A traditional love triangle comes to a happy ending, but only after having so many complications and exposing obsolete and low-level traditions.
Story Ending:
All the conflicts come to an end with the male and female lead happily uniting, but they have to face a lot of hardships and wait for their union.
As a headstrong female lead who wants to achieve her love even when the odds are obstructing her way, Sundri (Hina Afridi) pleads her case courageously and wins in the end. Ghulam (Imran Ashraf) also finds solace as Jahandaad (Shahzad Nawaz) recognizes him as his son.
Bashah (Zaviyar Nauman) comes to know that love can’t be won forcefully. Murk (Maham Naqvi) loves her deeply, but most of the time she stays waiting for his affection. Jahandaad gets to understand that the right of love, respect, and living a life of choice is equally granted to women as well.
Production and Script:
Produced by Babar Javaid and written by Zanjabeel Asim Shah, this is one of the top-rated dramas Green Entertainment has produced this year so far. Zanjabeel has been great in writing profound characters, especially for the females – Lajo (Saima Qureshi), Sahib Jan (Salma Asim), Khursheed (Tazeen Hussain), Zarina (Saleena Sipra), and Motia (Saima Baloch) have their own peculiar presence, whether they are positive or negative.
Performance:
Almost all the actors fit their characters. Hina Afridi can count this drama as one of the successful ones in the early years of her career. The character of Ghulam is the best one for Imran Ashraf after he played Bhola in Ranjha Ranjha Kardi. Zaviyar Nauman has added another feather to his cap with the character of Bashah. Shahzad Nawaz has now become a familiar face as we see him in many dramas on ARY, Geo, and other channels. He’s proved with his performance that he can brilliantly play any character, whether it is a don type or a feudal one. Performance-wise, it’s been a great story. Females have also been successful in making their presence felt.
Story is very lengthy:
We have seen the lengthy dramas quite a few times that could be cut short. This story went up to 41 episodes, which could be summed up in 30 to 35 episodes maximum. However, the overall impact of the serial is great in terms of TRPs and viewers’ likes.
We hope to see another exciting story and series by Zanjabeel Asim and Babar Javaid.
