The first episode of Main Zameen Tu Aasmaan aired last night. With the prior hype about the cast, it has garnered decent ratings and social media likes. Let’s have a look at how the first episode went.
Story and Script:
Written by Abdul Khaliq Khan, the story explores two distinct worlds with vastly different cultural backgrounds and sets of values. But the characters stick to their values and norms and don’t look like backing out. The conflict and contrast are huge, and they bring intensity to the story. Romance with a class difference is always interesting to watch, and this story has brought this very thing to the screen.
Cast and Lead Pair:
Hiba Bukhari and Feroze Khan are pairing up for a drama for the very first time in their acting careers. This has also been a factor for viewers’ interest. Hiba is now one of the most sought-after female actors in our drama industry, bringing elegance and finesse to the screen. Feroze gives a good performance with a new look this time.
Direction and production:
Ahmed Bhatti has worked before with Hiba Bukhari in Radd for ARY. Ahmed has brought the excellent skills of Hiba this time again.
Multiverse Entertainment and Tehreem Chaudhry are the names behind production. Class difference, rivalry between brothers, fighting against lawlessness and for the sake of one’s due rights, threats and blackmailing for vested interests – these ingredients make a powerful story.
A mix of feedback:
Green TV is continually producing different stories. But these stories give a bit unrealistic look sometimes. Like no common person can dare to mess up with a giant land mafia, let alone a girl. Being head-strong is praise-worthy but how one can ignore practical things and ground realities in a society like Pakistan. This is a pinching aspect of the story.
There is a fight scene with the hero fiercely hitting and bringing down the other men. It gives a movie-like feeling and a bit exaggerated.
However, we must admire the team for their effort as they have brought a strong and intense story to the screen.
What to expect next?
The lead pair has not yet met, but the next episode is going to bring them facing each other. Shazil (Feroze Khan) knows Hooram (Hiba Bukhari) but she is unaware of the fact that he belongs to the same land grabbers’ family who wants to occupy their property. When she comes to know, her reaction will be worth-watching. So let’s wait and see what happens next.
