Within it, we witnessed the intricate conspiracies devised by Daad Saeen (Nazar Ul Hassan) and Hasrat (Gohar Rasheed) against the local populace, with a particular focus on women.

The build-up of the plot:

Jindo’s sister was falsely accused of having an affair with a man who works in the haveli of Hasrat. Hasrat has an evil eye on her and that is the reason behind the false accusation.

When Fakeera (Faraaz Ali) comes back from the city, he gets to know all the suffering of his sisters in his absence. Now Jinda and Fakeera are presented before the panchayat. They have to face the punishment of walking on the fire bare-footed if they can’t prove their point.

Top Performances:

In this story, we’ve been given a significant insight into the hardships endured by impoverished residents of the Thar desert. Humaima Malick’s portrayal of Jindo stands out as a highlight in her acting career. Through Jindo’s eyes, we gain a poignant perspective on the challenging existence faced by the underprivileged inhabitants of Thar, an environment that poses a formidable burden for those who are economically disadvantaged and vulnerable.

All the actors are giving the best performance as the story demands a unique set of acting skills. Most of the actors in the story belong to Karachi but they have adopted the local dialect and style beautifully.

The cinematography is simple yet the portrayal of the indoor and outdoor locations is brilliant. Costumes, makeover, jewelry, and of course the local dialect of the artists is according to the demands of the characters, environment, and storyline. Simplicity with no glamour and luxuriousness is one such feature of the story that we can’t help admiring. Among the many plays portraying the repeated stories of marital and family issues, this drama serial has brought a significant amount of freshness and newness to our mini screen. Jindo shows us the various colors of the Thar Desert and its life. Their happiness and grieves – all look so natural and spontaneous.
