The 21st episode of Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum does not have much to offer as both Sharjeena and Mustafa have been going through a trail in search of a new place to live. After being accused of theft and kicked out of the home, Sharjeena is forced to wander with Mustafa and then settle in a very miserable place.
Adeel and Rubab are behind the miserable condition
Elder brother, Adeel (Emmad Irfani) is a bright and successful person in his professional and family life so he doesn’t like his younger brother. This very thing is the main reason behind the ongoing suffering of Mustafa. Also, Rubab (Naeema Butt) wants her own rule in the household so the couple has kicked out Mustafa and Sharjeena.
Sidra: always a support for Mustafa
It’s a balanced approach that sister Sidra (Maya Khan) supports a person like Mustafa in all his thicks and thins. However, sometimes this support looks unnecessary like she has nothing else to do. Also, her support is useless for Mustafa because no one in the family pays heed to what she says.
Sharjeena is at the mercy of circumstances
It is a pity that a shining girl like Sharjeena is at the mercy of circumstances she is not responsible for. She has not yet informed his family what she is going through. Marital life can’t be spent with romance; it dies quickly when the bitter realities of life hit a person hard. If Mustafa is unable to provide her with a home, protected environment, food, and other necessary things, then she deserves better.
Will this ordeal transform Mustafa?
He feels shame in confronting his in-laws in this situation. It is more hurting for a girl that she can’t tell her parents about these things. As he is a careless, jobless, and of course, a respectless person, this turning point becomes very important and can become a driving force for him to change the ongoing circumstances.
Now it is a test of the writing abilities of the playwright, Farhat Ishtiaq, whether she gives the character a reasonable turnaround or keeps things going just with the lollipop of romance.
What to expect next
As Mustafa has no job or source of living or he has no one to fall back on, the suffering period of the couple expects not to end soon. At least, Sharjeena should tell all this to her parents. A twist in the tale can be a possible interference by them.
