Jaan e Jahan has come close to the end. The 39th and 40th episodes have shown us the beauty and power of love… an intense and heartfelt love that has endured the hardships of separation, jealousy, step relations, negative societal norms, and inner conflicts. But finally, love emerged as triumphant. However, the lovers face off one last battle.
We saw Mahnoor (Ayeza Khan) and Shehram (Hamza Ali Abbasi) smiling and laughing wholeheartedly after a long time.
Nonetheless, one event proved to be the spoiler for all the happiness. With the murder of Tabraiz (Haris Wahid), things have become very depressing. The family of Aliya (Sarha Asghar) and Shehram are now under immense grief. That was quite unexpected for them all.
The story got a bit dragged
With the see-saw of love and hate, the momentum has been swinging up and down. Jealousy among the step relations has shown a true way.
The story has been advancing greatly by the 40th episode but things could be shortened. The happy and exciting scene of the election speech, and the wedding scene got very gloomy with the death of Tabraiz.
What we have seen in 40 episodes (with the last one still to go), could be summed up in up to 30 episodes.
A non-sensational type of romance
The loving couple has come close to each other in the story rarely. That’s why, seeing them openly expressing their love was pleasing and fulfilling.
Performance
Performance-wise the drama has been quite memorable. Ayeza Khan and Hamza Ali Abbasi have proved to be the most loving on-screen couple once again after Piyare Afzal. Ayeza Khan beautifully fits into the character of Mahnoor and has given us another reason to love her acting skills. Hamza Ali Abbasi has also given the near-perfect performance of a nice guy as Shehram. His mood transition from happy to shocked was admirable in the speech scene.
Kishwar (Sawaira Nadeem) has also given a solid performance.
Direction
Qasim Ali Mureed has shown his direction skills in camera, lighting, production, and presentation. He has proved that he was the right choice for Jaan e Jahan by Six Sigma and Next Level Entertainment.
What is expected with the last episode of Jaan e Jahan?
People are waiting anxiously for the union of Mahnoor and Shehram for which we are to wait for another episode. With the current doom and gloom situation, it would be premature to say what will the last episode be like.
But one thing is for sure Jaan e Jahan will be part of our memories for a long time. Let’s wait for the last episode of Jaan e Jahan.
